Every fighter in Vesper City is a real player. Train at the gym to build your strength, speed, dexterity and defense, then go looking for someone your own size, or someone who has it coming.
A fight plays out strike by strike in the ring, and you can watch every blow land. Win and you choose how it ends: take their wallet, send them to hospital, or walk away with your point made. Lose, and it is you on the stretcher.
Fights cost energy, and energy refills on its own. Your stats and your gear both count, so a well-trained mobster with the right kit can beat a bigger one without. Bounties let you put a price on a rival's head, or collect one.
Attacks open after your first few levels, so new players have time to find their feet. Every fight goes on your record, the newspaper has a page for the fights, and your reputation follows you through the city.
Losing is part of the game. A stay in hospital heals you in time, and a bad night is a reason to train harder rather than to quit. Pick fights you can win, keep your guard up, and remember that the person you mug today may come looking for you tomorrow.
